Narulas Soup Noodle R004

Material required for three  persons

  • Maggie noodles packet.....  four
  • Five glasses of water
  • Salt..... one third teaspoon
  • Turmeric...... half teaspoon
  • Onions.... two
  • Tomato.... three
  • Jeera(Cumin )....one teaspoon
  • Olive oil...... three tablespoons
  • Capsicum.... one
  • Potato ......one
  • Carrots two ---cut to slices
  • Beans about 50 gms
  • Whey or malai or white butter..... one tablespoon or milk(50ml)
  • Also the masala packets which are inside the Maggie noodle packing

Method
  • Cut onion and tomato into small pieces including capsicum, carrots, beans and potato.
  • Place the big pan or pressure cooker without lid on slow gas with three tablespoon of olive oil in it
  • When the pan is warm enough put jeera on the oil and let it fry till it changes its colour after a few seconds
  • Put the cut onion and move with the spatula vigorously till it becomes brown
  • Put the cut  tomatoes and mix well till the time it becomes dark and leaves oil. This will take about 10 minutes so be patient. Add about two tablespoons of milk or whey or white butter on it.
  • Now put the capsicum, other vegetables  like the beans, sliced carrots and even a single potato cut to small size in it.
  • Mix all the masalas in the Maggie packets with the above masalas including the salt in it and let it fry for 10 minutes.
  • Pour a glass of water after that. Keep stirring.
  • When it boils pour one more glass of water and when that  boils pour another glass of water till such time all the five glasses of water are into the pan.
  • Let it boil on full gas for some time---- 5 minutes.
  • Now put all the four packets of Noodles into it. The noodle should float in water and not become dry  otherwise more water is to be added.
  • After three to four minutes take out a single noodle and taste it. If it is slightly raw and nearly cooked switch off the gas.
  • Your soup noodles are ready. By the time you take them to the table in the casserole and put it in the soup bowls the raw noodle will be fully cooked. If you cook up initially it will become very soft and you will not like it so it has to be left slightly uncooked.
  • Pour in the soup cups along with the soup. It will satisfy your hunger and would be a light meal for the day with all the nutrition in it.
