Aish El Sarayah

Aish El Sarayah is a middle eastern dessert famous in Lebanon, Syriaو and Jordan.

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf white bread
  • 2 cups Kater (Syrup)
  • 3 cups Baken cream (Kushta)
  • 1/4 cup Lemmon leaves Jam
  • 1/2 cup Crushed pistachio
Preparation:
  • Cut the bread into meduim size pieces
  • Take out the crumb and cook in the oven until it gets a golden brown color.
  • Butt the crumbs until they get soft.
  • In a cooking pan heat the crumbs and add the syrup over it.
  • When you get a brown dough add the cooking fat.
  • Mix for 3 minutes until the fat melts.
  • Spread the dough on a serving dish evenly and cover with the cooked cream (Kushta).
  • Decorate with some crushed pistachio.
