Chicken Nuggets McDonalds Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Cup of all purpose flower
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 egg - beaten
1 cup of water
1 pound of boned and skinned chicken breast

Cooking Instructions:

1) Combine the egg and water in a small bowl and set aside.

2) Combine the flower, salt, monosodium glutamate, pepper, onion powder, and garloc powder in a big platic zipper bag and also set aside.

3) Pound each of the chicken breasts with a mallet to 1/4" thick.  Then cut them into bite sized pieces.

4) Coat each chicken piece with your flour mixture by shaking them in the plastic zipper bag.

5) Remove and dredge each nugget in the egg mixture so they are covered well.

6) Return each nugget to the flour mixture and shake to coat.

7) Leave the nuggets in the bag and put them in the freezer for at least an hour.

8) Cover and refrigerate remaining egg mixture.

9) After freezing the nuggets, repeat the above coating process.

10) Deep fry the nuggets in 375 degree oil for 10-12 minutes or until browned and crisp.

11) Drain the nuggets on brown paper bags and eat!

Whew, seems like a lot of steps huh?  It's not bad at all.  I just wanted to make sure the process was broken down in the easiest way possible to follow!  You may not be able to dry all of the nuggets at once depending on your fryer size so maybe 8-10 at a time.  This process is a lot cheaper and actually more fun then having to go to McDonalds everytime you have a chicken nugget craving!

Grilled Chicken Recipe - Mediterranean Style

The following grilled chicken recipe is quick and easy to prepare, utilises some wonderful Mediterranean flavours and is healthy to boot!

Whether this grilled chicken recipe is cooked on your indoor grill, griddle pan or outside on your barbecue grill, it is equally as delicious.

Grilled Chicken with Rosemary, Garlic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil

4 Large Boneless Chicken Thigh Fillets
2 Sprigs Fresh Rosemary (or 2 tsp dried if you can't get fresh)
2 Cloves Garlic
4 Tblsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tblsp Balsamic Vinegar
Sea Salt & Black Pepper to taste

Lightly pound the chicken fillets with a mallet to an even thickness, it cooks a lot quicker this way as well.

Lay the fillets into a baking dish or marinating tray and season with Sea Salt and Black Pepper.

Sprinkle over Rosemary leaves, crushed Garlic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar and gently rub into the meat.

If you are in a hurry you can grill the chicken immediately or leave to marinate for up to a day in the fridge. It really depends on the depth of flavour you would like, the longer you leave it, the more intense the flavours will become.

Chicken Recipe - Chicken Chili with Beans

Once it come to calm food, chili  with or with no beans has to be method up on the list. I keep in mind from rank school each Friday a friend and I would arrange 4 dishes of chili and consume it losing. My hunger for chili hasn't distorted a lot while then except my wish to be fit has cause me to reorganize and study how chili is ready. altering from beef to chicken isn't that a lot of a give up. If you just can't give up the beef taste then put in a small tip earth around steak in put of the chicken.
The formula has a pair of things you don't forever notice in chili, such as brown sugar and Mexican way chili beans (they have some green chiles). You could apply Mexican way refried beans in put of the chili beans. This replacement will offer you a thicker and heartier chili.
By all way use this formula as a first course and put in a few ingredients of your own. Who knows, you might come up with a chili to go into in a local chili challenge.

    Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped

    (1) 14 1/2 oz. can dice tomatoes

    directions:

garlic and cook about 1 minute

longer. Note - garlic may flavor bitter if cooked longer at this tip.

    2 tsp Cumin/Jeera Seeds
just under 1/4 tsp Black Mustard Seeds
    2 Brown Cardamon Pods
    4 Small Green Cardamon Pods

    And the rest......

    1 tsp Turmeric
    1/4 tsp Ground Cumin
    1/2 tsp Ground Coriander
    1/32 tsp Garam Masala
    Pinch Salt(optional)
    Large Pinch Ground Black Pepper
    Dried Methi/Fenugreek Leaves
    Dried Coriander Leaves

1 Red Chilli (de-seeded, chopped small)
    2 Large Flat Mushrooms (Chunks)

Put your seeds into a small pan and toast them till they smoke a little and crackle (do nt over do it or they will burn easy). Put your seeds into a blender/mortar and pestle to grind - take your green and brown cardamon pods and peel the skins off - discard the outer skin and add the tiny seeds from the inside of them into your blender mix. Grind them.

Now blend together your garlic and ginger you may need to add a few drops of water to help loosen it but be sure not to add too much water or it will go to liquid.

Blend up your medium onion and fry it in some rapeseed oil. Keep stiring it.

Add your sliced onion and cook them until they start turning golden. Keep stiring.

Turn your heat down a little add your garlic/ginger paste and stir well. Cook for a few minutes.

Add your turmeric and stir well.

Turn down the heat, add your tomatoes chili's and 2 tsp of your ground toasted seed mix.
Pour a little oil in and keep stiring well.

Add your chicken stir well. Keep simmering.

Add you dried methi leaves with your 1/4 tsp ground cumin and 1/2 tsp ground coriander. Stir well.

Add a small drop of water to loosen it up (remember too much water turn curry into a stew so only add small amounts at a time). Cook for 5 minutes then add your salt and black pepper stir well then add garam masala . Keep stiring.

Add your mushrooms. Stir well add a little more oil if needed or water. Put your pan lid on and simmer for 5 minutes or so.

Add your dried coriander and simmer right down until leaves soak up the curry and soften.
